    Inside Tucson’s Creative Dance Center on the southwest corner of Ft. Lowell & Cherry Ave, one block west of Campbell Ave. Look for the green roof peeking out from a small sea of desert landscaping on the campus of The Nature Conservancy.
    Parking: Enter the gravel driveway from Cherry Avenue & park on the street, along the circular driveway (not on the sidewalk, please!), or in the spots along the south fence.

  • Cancellation/Return Check Policy

    Workshop registrations cancelled 5 business days or less in advance of a workshop’s scheduled date are eligible for a studio credit at half the registration fee.

    Cancellations made 6–14 days in advance of the workshop will receive ½ refund or credit.

    Cancellations received more than 14 days in advance of the workshop will receive a full refund or studio credit.

    Studio credits expire 6 months after original purchase

    Any returned checks will incur a fee of $15 on the client's account.

    Class series purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable

 

Mysore Program

with Lisa Schrempp

Weekly, Monday through Friday with breaks on moon days

Doors open at 6am. Practitioners are expected to arrive early enough to be finished with practice by 7:45 am.

Cost: $100 monthly (5x/week), $80 monthly (3x/week) or $10 *drop-in.

Payments must be made in cash or check at the studio. Due to the individual and intimate nature of the Mysore program, reservations for classes cannot be made via the website

* Drop-in rates are for those who have an Ashtanga practice but cannot commit to the 3 to 5 early daily practice sessions.

Mysore classes are conducted in the teaching style of Sri K Pattabhi Jois. The practitioner is asked to practice daily except Saturdays, new and full moon, and the first three days of the female practitioners’ menstrual cycle. The practice is taught on an individual basis depending of the ability of the student to learn, digest, and assimilate the instruction and the asanas. As the student progresses the teacher helps them to continue in deeper understanding of the practice and asanas and assist them as they progress through the series. The first series is called Yoga Chikitsa it reorganizes and purifies the body.

    Hi Lisa,

    Hope you are well. My chronic fatigue thing has really been acting up lately so I’m going to try coming to Mysore to see if that will help. I think maybe a steady, regular practice in which I don’t “push” too much could be helpful. Maybe it will also help get me off coffee:)

    Hopefully I’ll see you tomorrow!
